1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Avaril Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Avaril”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our own website and platform. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains our broader personal data practices.
3. Categories of Cookies We Use
- Strictly necessary: required for core functionality such as authentication, session management, load balancing, and security (for example, keeping you signed in and protecting against cross-site request forgery). These cannot be switched off through our cookie banner.
- Functional: remember your preferences, such as your recorded cookie or notice consent choices, so you are not asked again on every visit.
- Analytics: help us understand how visitors use our website and platform so we can improve them. These are only set with your consent.
- Marketing: used, where you consent, to measure the effectiveness of our marketing and, on our landing pages, to remember referral sources.
4. Your Choices
When you first visit our website, a cookie preferences banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookie categories, and revisit your choice at any time through the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect the functionality of our website and platform.
Consent choices you make are recorded and can be withdrawn as easily as they were given, in line with the DPDPA.
5. Cookie Consent on Sites Built With Avaril
Avaril also provides a cookie-consent SDK (@avaril/react and the Python SDK) that our Customers embed on their own websites to collect and manage their end users' cookie preferences. When you interact with a cookie banner on a Customer's website, that Customer — not Avaril — is the Data Fiduciary responsible for that website's cookies and for responding to your consent choices; Avaril processes the underlying consent records on the Customer's behalf as described in our Privacy Policy. Refer to that website's own cookie or privacy policy for details of the cookies it sets.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our website and platform are set by third-party service providers we use for functions such as payment processing and, where enabled, analytics. These providers may use the information collected through their cookies in accordance with their own privacy policies.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies and technologies we use. We will post the updated Policy on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
